On the 2nd of February in Jungbuschstreet 18 new doors opened: to the intercultural center of CONTENT 18.
The visitors slowly gathered in the studio of the artist Grete Piat, drinking tea and listening to indian sitar music. Greeting words were spoken by Gerburg Maria Müller, leading figure of the CONTENT.17 project, who also explained the work and plans of the groups that CONTENT 18 consists of. Ursula Noltenius, surrounded by kids, introduced the Junior Youth Group from the Jungbusch.
Afterwards the rooms of the Oriental Music academy of Mannheim (OMM) hosted a musical programm where Orient and Occident met.

In the end everyone gathered in Grete Piat's studio again for a "devotional shot". The guests read prayers, and in between some friends from the OMM played sitar and flute.
This devotion created a special sense of harmony and unity because all participants of CONTENT 18 were part of it, read, sang, played, prayed together.
About 60-80 people visited CONTENT 18 that day.
Blessed is the arising of the awakened;
blessed is the teaching of the truth;
blessed is the harmony of the community;
blessed is the devotion of those who live in peace.
