Our trip to Ural

In August three of us (Olga, Helmut and Jana) went to visit Olga's mother in Ural. The town where Baba Luda lives is called Talitsa, it's about 5000 km away from Mannheim and lies somewhere between Yekaterinburg and Tumen. We spent 2 weeks visiting Baba Luda and Olga's brother Andrej and his family.

This was a very special and important trip, since we don't see each other as often as we would love to and we miss each other very much. We were very glad to talk and to spend time together!

Other summer events and visits of dear friends

This summer we were very happy to see some of our dear friends in Mannheim.

Our souls and hearts (unfortunately not our bodies) visited the annual Baha'i summer school in Belarus, Smole, which was a very joyful event as always.

Helmut's greatest joy was the visit of Olga Kiriushkina, the first Baha'i in Belarus. When Olga was 4 years old Helmut met her family. Many memories from the early years connect these two friends.
